Back in the fall I posted a series of photos, sort of a "diary" of the healing of a bad crushing injury. The last picture in the series looked pretty good, but this most recent picture is really gratifying.
This is the underside of the chest of Hercules, a big old Labrador retriever. On the left is the "before", a few days after the injury, when the crushed and dying tissue had sloughed out. On the right is the "after", how his chest looks today.
Man, I love a happy ending.
