Mobley Brothers Wild West: Part 2

If you were reading a couple of months ago, you may recall that our family has an affinity for the traditions and mythos of the Great American West.  There’s the Sons of the Western Bootheel, for instance.  You got to share our visit with The Rhinestone Ropers a while back.

Tomorrow I leave for Claremore, Oklahoma to join my brothers and their families at the Wild West Arts Club convention.  Matt and Joe (and maybe Max) will be competing in the trick roping.  The rest of us will be doing a lot of watching, and we’ll probably get some lessons in bullwhip-cracking, knife-throwing, tomahawk throwing, and whatnot.

I’ll take pictures.  You’ll see them here.  Happy Trails.

Would love to see you add a flickr set to this blog. A great way to post LOTS of (full size) pix of your your adventures. Just go to flickr.com and follow the instructions. It’s free.
